Our most wide-reaching Project Motion outreach initiative, Motion Express brings free, curriculum-based dance programs directly into eleven DC public and charter schools, giving both students and teachers the opportunity to integrate movement and creative expression into their educational lives.
Focused on Northeast and Southeast DC, Motion Express now reaches more than 350 children through a 20-week in-school dance program and welcomes more than 600 young audience members to professional concerts at the Atlas Performing Arts Center.
